Pearle Hospitality is thrilled to introduce the new Ontario Golf Academy, owned and operated by Whistle Bear Golf Club. The Academy's objective is simple: to be a world-class facility offering its clients dedicated instructional programs. As the name signifies, the Academy will be recognized as the leader in junior development, club fitting and individual coaching. The Ontario Golf Academy has retained the services of highly skilled PGA of Canada certified instructors to oversee the programs, which are rooted in making the game more enjoyable and accessible to golfers of all skill levels. Members of Whistle Bear Golf Club can expect inclusive programming while respecting member access to the practice facility.
Exceptional instruction is available year-round at Whistle Bear’s premier facility. During the summer months, students have access to one of the finest practice facilities in Ontario. Lessons are conducted on private teeing areas manicured to perfect playing conditions, as well as a secluded short game sanctuary, world-class putting surfaces and a private approach-game area. Throughout the winter, Trackman analysis is available in our Winter Practice Zone. The facility also boasts a lounge area with televisions, video games and a bar area.
The 12-acre practice facility is the finest for learning or improving your game. Features include: a lighted driving range, bent grass tee deck, 40 artificial turf-hitting stations, seven target greens, a short game area with a chipping green, sand traps and a putting green. With a full program of group classes, camps and clinics, Whistle Bear's Golf Academy provides support for golfers of all skill levels and ages.
The Academy's teaching environment values and embraces an effort to improve, and a desire to grow the game. As such, the goal is to create a personal relationship with all players, and build a positive atmosphere that promotes players’ growth and development. The Professional staff is dedicated to elevating your golf game through innovative coaching methods, cutting edge technology and superior instructional facilities.
