On Thursday, May 12th, Spencer’s at the Waterfront celebrated their 10th Anniversary and Relaunch with a Yacht Party like none other. Spencer’s first opened their doors in June of 2006 and over the past ten years have become a staple on Burlington’s waterfront. To celebrate this milestone, Spencer’s received a refresh - two reasons to celebrate!
For 6 weeks in Spring, Spencer’s was closed for renovations. This quick turnaround meant all hands on deck! Although construction was at the top of everyone’s mind, our chefs and staff we’re still able to have some fun with special pop-up dinners and events held downstairs at the Bite. The renovations flew by, and Spencer’s re-opened on April 20th - just in time for patio season.
The entrance is more pronounced, with a dedicated host desk for welcoming both restaurant and event guests alike. Step inside the dining room and you’ll notice the biggest transformation, new flooring, light fixtures, tables and chairs. Although the structure hasn’t changed, a new layout and updated fixtures make the space look entirely new. There is a dedicated bar area, a welcoming place to enjoy some drinks and shared plates. The entire floor plan has been optimized to highlight the spectacular waterfront view. Staying true to the architecture of the building and its surroundings, a subtle nautical theme underlines every element.
A new private room - the Solarium - is now available for events. This space is located directly behind the entrance, and wraps around the building, providing stunning waterfront views. The space seats 32 guests, perfect for meetings, intimate weddings and private dinner parties. Windows on three sides make the room very spacious and bright - and it has it’s own private bar access.
Spencer’s is ready for the next decade.
