Landscape Construction Foreperson

We are currently looking for a Landscape Construction Foreperson to join our growing team in the Guelph area.

  • The pay for this role ranges between $34-40 hour depending on relevant experience

What we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the landscape construction industry
  • Ability to supervise, coordinate and schedule the day-to-day work activities of a landscape construction crew of 1-5 team members
  • Ability to cultivate a positive work environment and instill an ethic of teamwork and professionalism among the team
  • A full understanding of all aspects from excavation to finish of interlock
  • Experience in Masonry/natural stonework
  • Experience with concrete work
  • Experience with carpentry
  • Knowledge in tree and plant care and installation
  • Experience operating skid steers and mini excavators
  • Ability to read plans, and layout and setting out grades
  • Strong leadership skills and be a team player
  • A clean driver’s abstract
  • Experience towing a trailer
  • First aid training considered asset
