Bartenders and Servers are needed to deliver genuine and thoughtful service to our guests in the Penstock Lounge. The lounge is an amazing space carved out of the original stone of the Mill with a large glass solarium providing unparalleled views of the Elora gorge and the Tooth of Time. Beneath the lounge is a state of the art wine cellar which is a sight to behold and an inspiring space for wine lovers.

The Bartender is a key member of the Front of House Team; Bartenders fill drink orders either directly from customers at the bar or through servers who place drink orders for Lounge guests. Bartenders must know a wide range of drink recipes and be able to mix drinks correctly, quickly, and without waste. In addition to mixing and serving drinks, bartenders stock and prepare garnishes for drinks and maintain an adequate supply of ice, glasses, and other bar supplies. They also may wash glassware and utensils and serve food to guests who eat at the bar. They work closely with all other front and back of house teams to ensure the efficient operation of the restaurant, and to provide an extraordinary guest experience.
2-4 year's experience in a Bartender role
Excellent wine, beer and spirit knowledge- any certifications considered an asset

Servers are at the heart of the Front of House Team, acting as a host to their guests they are responsible for organizing their section, taking and delivering orders, and overall table maintenance.The server puts guests at ease and confidently assists them with food and beverage selections to heighten their overall experience. Theywork closely with all other front and back of house teams to ensure the efficient operation of the restaurant, and to provide an extraordinary guest experience.
1-3 years serving experience preferred
